What does NightTimeExpress offer?

We collect your shipments up to the late evening…

We generally pick up your shipment between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Day 1, followed by delivery the same night, usually by 8:00 a.m. Deliveries are made to a location previously agreed for each shipment. This might include anything from the boot of a service vehicle, a doorman/porter, a safe, a nox NightTimeExpress branch, etc. This ensures that urgently needed goods and spare parts are available where they are required before the start of the business day. Your employees start the day without needing to wait for delivery first, saving you valuable time and creating more added value.

How does drop-off point management work?

If delivery is scheduled for the early morning hours, regardless of whether the recipient is present on the spot, we recommend that you agree on an individual drop-off point. You can do this by completing our drop-off point form form or by contacting us directly, so we can advise you on the best solution in your particular case.

Does nox NightTimeExpress offer any other products and services?

How should the goods be packaged?

nox NightTimeExpress generally handles the transport of all types of items, including individual parcels, pallets, small-sized items and bulky goods. Please note, however, that the goods to be transported must be packed transport-proof (suitable for handling and truck transport) in order to minimize the risk of damage. Please comply with our General Terms and Conditions when shipping items.

Are there any size and weight restrictions I need to take into account?

  • Generally, no restrictions apply.
  • However, an advance shipping notice must be sent for individual parcels whose size exceeds
    • a length of 3.20 metres, a width of 1.20 metres, a height of 1.50 metres
    • and/or a weight of 100 kilograms
  • by 1:00 p.m. on the day of collection. Please note that the delivery time for these nonstandard items may vary.

How much are the shipping charges?

You can request a proposal or an individual shipment price to calculate the charges for your shipment.

How and when will the items be collected and delivered?

If you contact us by 12:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday to advise us of your shipment, we will generally pick it up the same day, provided this has been agreed in advance. Your shipment will then be delivered the same night, usually by 8:00 a.m. Note that delivery times may vary depending on the type of product and option(s) you have chosen.

How do I complete the shipping documents?

The process of manually completing shipping labels and shipping orders is a thing of the past. Instead, nox NightTimeExpress offers you a user-friendly, web-based logistics software application that allows you to prepare your national and international consignments for shipment on your computer from the comfort of your home. If you don’t have the access details required, please  contact us today – we will then make all the necessary arrangements to set you up. We will also be pleased to answer any other questions you may have about using our system. You will receive your personal user ID and secure password in no time at all. This is how we ensure that your data is treated confidentially and is protected from third-party access.

How do I check the status of my shipment?

You can either enter individual search queries in our Track-and-Trace system or log into our secure customer portal, where you can check the status of your shipment online at any time.

If you don’t have the access details required, please contact us today – we will then make all the necessary arrangements to set you up. We will also be pleased to answer any other questions you may have about using our system. You will receive your personal user ID and secure password in no time at all. This is how we ensure that your data is treated confidentially and is protected from third-party access.

Can I use nox NightTimeExpress for my imports and exports?

nox NightTimeExpress is your partner for the professional handling of all your shipments to and from European countries outside Germany. We ensure secure and reliable shipment, as besides Germany we are represented in 20 other European countries through our sister companies and partners.
This means you can ship to and from any country listed as an option in the proposal request. Please contact us if you have any further Questions.

What happens if I make a complaint or report damage of a shipment?

We provide you with the option to advise us of any issues by completing the contact form. With a few simple mouse clicks, our Customer Service department will receive your details, which they will then process immediately, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Please note that any damage caused to shipments handled by NightTimeExpress must be reported to nox NightTimeExpress by 12:00 p.m. on the day of delivery (or by 12:00 p.m. on the next business day for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Damage caused to items shipped through DayTimeExpress must be reported by 4:00 p.m. on the day of delivery. General reservations are not sufficient.

Items which have been reported as damaged must be held for inspection and return shipment, including the original transport packaging, by nox and/or one of its agents. If these rules are not complied with, nox will not be liable for the reported damage.
